First day of Workout

Ok so now I am going to put myself on a challenge.  My son graduates from College this summer and I have a HUGE family reunion coming up.  I need to lose weight.  I was/am so embarrassed by the photos in my daughters graduation pictures from this past summer I dont want to repeat it.  I have struggled getting out of bed to go to the gym.  So I tried to go at night.  I think about all day long so why in the world am I not going?  I just think about it but sit and do nothing.  Self defeating and I dont even know why.  So today, I went.  Got up, put the dogs out, fed them and jumped in the car and drove to the gym.  That part was the hardest.  Once I got in, I had no problem getting on the treadmill and started my walk... 3.0 and 1.0 incline. set for 30 minutes.  Now normally I am lucky to do 2.7 for 15 minutes but I was hoping I would be able to do this.  I even drank a muscle milk light.  Then the trainer came over and started talking to me.  Some 20 something year old kid, but he started asking me questions and kept me talking for 38 minutes..!!!  I was soo happy. 3 free training lessons from it too!! Then I went to McDonalds and picked up a fruit and yogurt parfait and then Carls for a Cranberry, Apple and Walnut salad with grilled chicken.  OMG I am so proud of myself! Oh and a poweraide!  So far so good!  Let's see what tomorrow holds me :)
